2023 ELECTION

Old Council goes out with a bang…

November 12, 2023

This old Chapel Hill Council is going out with a bang.  On the agenda Wednesday November 15 is a resolution that would extend the town and urban services southward along 15-501. On the Monday night work session is a discussion on truncating  advisory board participation. We wonder why that is not scheduled at a regular meeting so there could be public comment.

The Wednesday Council meting would me a good one  to attend and encourage a different direction –  such as conducing an environmental analysis and area plan for the large new area the Town proposes to serve  – up to 2200 new homes brought by water and sewer extensions – the size of another Southern Village.
