SAME DAY REGISTRATION

Same Day Voter Registration is available during the Early Voting period at all Early Voting sites. If completing Same Day Registration, one must vote at that Early Voting site rather than on Election Day.


BY MAIL VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13TH.

Applications must be received by the Board of Elections by 5:00 p.m. or postmarked by Oct. 13th.

Thursday & Friday, October 19 & October 20: 9 am – 6 pm


Board of Elections, 208 S. Cameron St., Hillsborough & Carrboro Town Hall, 301 W. Main St., Carrboro

Monday – Friday, October 23 – October 27: 9 am – 6 pm
Saturday, October 28: 9 am – 1 pm
Monday – Friday, October 30 – November 3: 9 am – 6 pm*
*All Sites will CLOSE at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 31 Saturday – November 4: 9 am – 1 pm


Chapel of the Cross, 304 E. Franklin St., Chapel Hill & Seymour Senior Center, 2551 Homestead Rd., Chapel Hill

Monday – Friday – October 23– October 27: 12 pm to 7 pm
Seymour Senior Center, Saturday – October 28: 9 am to 1 pm*
*Chapel of the Cross will NOT be open Sat., Oct. 28 due to UNC Football Game Monday
Friday, October 30 – November 3: 12 pm to 7 pm*
*All Sites will CLOSE at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 31
Saturday – November 4 – 9 am to 1 pm


Absentee Voting By Mail

Orange County also offers absentee voting by mail to all Orange County registered voters who wish to vote by mail rather than in person at a one-stop early voting site or on Election Day. Absentee ballot requests may be submitted using the required Absentee Ballot Request Form in person (at the above address) or by mail (at the Post Office listed above).
